Julia holds a bachelor’s degree in law from Laval University; she initially earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture, which gives her a remarkable ability to analyze complex situations from multiple perspectives. Her legal career path led her to the Quebec Court of Appeal, where she completed a research internship, and then to one of Canada’s leading law firms, where she was involved in high-profile cases as an intern. She was admitted to the Quebec Bar in the summer of 2026.
Julia has been with BRESSE as a student since 2015 and joined the firm full-time in 2026. Her education and experience have enabled her to develop an in-depth understanding of insolvency for both individuals and businesses. Her high-level legal training, combined with her experience handling highly complex cases, makes her particularly well-equipped to assist both consumers seeking to resolve their debt problems and business owners facing delicate restructuring situations.

Julia also has a unique passion: salmon fishing.
